Gran Bahia Jamaica Resort review by C. Holness
The Grand Bahia Jamaica All-Inclusive resort is conveniently located in Runaway Bay, St. Ann , which is part way between the cities of Ocho Rios and Montego Bay.
This gracious Victorian-styled resort hotel boasts 850 delightful junior suites in which you will feel right at home.
Your days can be spent basking in the sun and taking a dip in the Caribbean Sea at the private beach, swimming in the huge connected pools, getting pampered at the indulgent spa, and enjoying excellent dining.
The nice thing about this resort is that it is on the more affordable end of the scale when it comes to all-inclusives.

Rooms At Gran Bahia Jamaica
Your stay is sure to be a comfortable and relaxing one in the Grand Bahia Jamaica's charming, well-appointed suites. Each offers you a tastefully decorated, air-conditioned, spacious room with your choice of 1 king-sized or 2 full-sized canopy beds, satellite television, soothing hydro-massage tubs and standing showers.
Many of these elegant suites provide breathtaking views of the sea, and are also equipped with a stocked mini-fridge containing bottled water, beer, and soft drinks for your refreshment.
Dining Options
You will be pleased with the variety of dining choices available at Grand Bahia. Whatever your tastebuds have a hankering for, you are likely to find something to appease them with a mouthwatering selection of Italian, Japanese, Gourmet, and Grillhouse a la carte restaurants, as well as the vast buffet with its varying ethnic-themed cuisines.
Besides unlimited buffet, three a la carte meals are included with your stay, although it is necessary to make reservations and dress suitably according to regulations.
You can also grab a quick snack at one of the resort's many lively bars, which also offer you a wide selection of beer, wine, and cocktails.
Recreation and Leisure
At the Grand Bahia, you will have the option to enjoy a wide variety of fun and exciting activities each day. Try your hand at kayaking, snorkelling, biking, windsurfing, tennis, or cataman, all of which can be enjoyed for an hour every day, which is all part of your all-inclusive stay.
Take in an entertaining live performance, night or day. There are also soccer, volleyball, a fitness centre, and three large swimming pools which are all joined together and provide complimentary scuba gear for you to use if desired.
On the beach you will be provided with towels, comfortable, reclining chairs, and beach umbrellas to use. Wi-Fi is available in the main and terrace lobby areas for anyone who needs to go online.
You can also take part in activities such as fishing excursions, jet skiing, scuba diving courses, and snorkelling expeditions for an extra fee. Spend a relaxing day at the spa where you can get a massage, facial, manicure, pedicure, or new hairstyle.
Nightlife At Gran Bahia Principe Jamaica
There is no shortage of fun and excitement awaiting you when the sun goes down at the Grand Bahia.
The Pueblo Principe, the resort's shopping and entertainment complex, where you can check out the lovely souvenirs and crafts for sale in the daytime, comes to life at night and is home to such happening spots as the Ska discotheque where you can dance the night away to authentic Jamaican reggae and other great music, and the Karaoke Piano Bar where you can grab the mike and sing along to your favourite songs.
The Sports Bar is always hopping with activity, and for a small entrance fee you can watch the game on one of their multiple screens, try your luck at the mini-casino, and enjoy an imported beer.
With so much to offer its guests, it's no wonder that many return again and again to the warm hospitality of the Grand Bahia Jamaica.
