Di old, di young and di lickle pickney!
Di oder day mi sidun a watch mi TV
How everybody plan fi celebrate dis jubilee
Some a fuss demself bout Jamaica 50 song
Oonoo stop di foolishness, di two a dem can tan
De lyrics meck sense and dem both contribute
Dem both have some form of Jamaican trut'.
So meck wi come together and congregate
Wi have half a century of independence fi celebrate!
Mi a plan fi go a grand gala
Cause mi wah si mi culture in a live colla
Mi a go a Best of Fest by JCDC
From July 9 - July 23
Wi culture ministry meck everyting free
So wi caan seh wi nuh have nuh money
Wear yuh black, green and gold everyone
An' meck everybody know yuh a Jamaican.
Mi a go celebrate, mi a go spree
Cause...Jamaica 50 celebrations naw miss me!!
