Jamaican nature tours are a must-have experience while on the island. And no I am not talking about just getting on a bus and just going to a beach or one of our many waterfalls. While those are fantastic sometimes they don’t provide that little “extra something” that makes you go wow.

These Jamaican nature tours aren’t just thrilling, but they really make you feel in touch with mother nature. Here are my favourites:
J. Charles Swaby’s Black River Safari
Ecotourism destination J. Charles Swaby's Black River Safari opened for business in November 1987. While giving tourists the experience of a lifetime, the attraction aims to inform them about the diverse species of aquatic life and the significance of the Black River Morass. At this attraction, there is a running Crocodile Nursery program that helps rescue and rehabilitate crocodiles of all sizes. All visitors to the safari can see the nursery.

Croydon in the Mountains
The Croydon plantation is situated close to Montego Bay, in the Catadupa mountain foothills. You are welcome to learn about the fascinating past of the plantation, which is where Samuel Sharpe, one of Jamaica's national heroes, was born. You may learn about the growing and making of coffee while taking a beautiful nature walk through the plantation, and you can even taste it.
It is Croydon's speciality to grow 19 distinct varieties of pineapple, and you will have the chance to sample them all and other citrus fruits. Additionally, you'll discover more about your active bees' honey output. Authentic Jamaican food is also served at the buffet during the trip.

Campbelton Mountain Adventures
Campbelton Mountain Adventures (CMA) is a family-run business. This adventure tour, which is situated in an active agricultural village about 20 minutes' drive south of Negril's famed 7-mile-long coastline, blends nature with pleasure in a habitat safeguarded by a picturesque ecology that is truly unspoiled. They offer hiking tours, ATV and bike riding and a one of a kind swing adventure, where you are able to swing above the mountains and take in the views from a breathtaking point of view.
