Jamwest Motorsports Adventure Park - ATV Rides

Looking for a full day of fun and adrenaline-pumping adventure? Then the Jamwest Motorsport and Adventure Park is where you need to be. And yes! You can take the entire family, there is something for everyone to do, even toddlers will enjoy.

Jamwest Speedway, the first attraction at Jamwest Motorsports and Adventure Park, opened its doors ten years ago when it was merely a quarter-mile drag strip. The owners made the decision five years ago to include the current drag strip on a circuit track.

Work started nearly right away. With proper runoffs and traps, the facility currently has a 2-mile circuit for drag racing. It is definitely one of the major go-to places for car racing enthusiasts in Jamaica. 

The property's natural spring ponds and wetlands have recently been improved by the owners by opening up access to them.

They have also included an ATV Tour, a Safari Tour, a Zipline Challenge, horseback riding, and of course, a driving adventure at Jamwest Speedway to round out the trip.

ATV Rides

They offer a genuine and fantastic experience just 20 minutes from Negril's 7-mile coastline. Even as a beginner you can join in the fun as they have Dune buggies and ATV quad bikes that are all motorized and exceedingly simple to operate.

Let your adrenaline fuel the experience by travelling entirely off-road. Choose your mode of transportation, whether solo or duo driving. The minimum age to be a Driver is 16 years with a valid Learner’s Permit or Driver’s License.

Zipline

Their cutting-edge facilities include eight towers that rise 60 feet in the air and 2450 feet of zip lines. The "Racing Zip" is unique to Jamwest and has parallel zip lines that allow two people to race each other at once.

While you're there, pause to see the breathtaking view of the Caribbean Sea and the island's southwest. Finish off your zip-lining adventure with a 60-foot rappel or by zipping across to the Rocky Water Village. Children must be accompanied by an adult. The Maximum Weight is 250lbs while the Minimum Weight is 50lbs.

Safari

You will learn about the numerous plants and animals along the route from a highly qualified team of tour guides, zoologists, and botanists, who will also provide you with a wealth of historical details and animal demonstrations.

The wetlands, the rainforest, and the grassland will all be destinations along the path where you can explore the distinct habitats of these three natural flora and fauna environments.

Explore the wetlands to observe the amazing biodiversity firsthand. View local crocodiles, iguanas, tortoises, snakes, and many more species from the boardwalks. Visit the spring ponds and natural lakes to observe wading birds in their natural settings.

Driving Experience

Alongside one of their qualified driving instructors, feel the rush of driving three sports vehicles on the circuit track. You get three sessions with five laps each, and each session lets you try out a different sports car.

They provide the vehicles, the instructor, the equipment, and all other necessary items. Your friends and family are free to spectate and cheer you on.

Horse Back Riding

While you wait in their stable lounge, your guide will assist you in selecting and preparing your horse. No prior knowledge is required. All rides are led by guides, who are always joined by a back up rider.

Before leaving for the trail, familiarize yourself with this activity and get a safety briefing. For safety reasons, everyone must wear a helmet. Ride the horses into the ocean, where they enjoy playing, and then stroll down to the fishing village of Salmon Point.

Push Kart

Jamwest's own imitation of what motivated Jamaica to make its debut at the 1988 Winter Olympics by competing in the bobsled event is the Push Kart. With the option to choose between cruising around the forest or tearing through on the sledge lines, the Push Kart puts the power of excitement in your own hands.

For each adventure, there are rules, guidelines and precautions that must be followed for your safety and you will also be required to sign a disclaimer. Also when you book these adventures they all come with the following:

• Entrance fees
• Driver/guide
• Pickup and drop-off from hotels in the Negril Area
• Free Access to Pool and Water Slide
• Free Access to mineral Bath
• Safety gears and equipment

Water Park

The Water Park at Jamwest is a welcome addition to the adventurer's paradise property, where tours that combine thrills and relaxation are the main draws. Everyone continues to enjoy themselves in the water and on land thanks to the water park.

There is even a play area for children. You will be welcomed at the clubhouse, which has a restaurant, a café, a gift store, and a bar when you arrive. You will be escorted to the Water Park after signing your waiver.

You may splash around in the water, have fun in the playgrounds, and take advantage of some of the more sedate attractions, such as the Mineral Bath, Bird Aviary, and Petting Zoo.

Jamwest is definitely the new hot spot in western Jamaica, especially during the summer.
