QUESTION about: Kelly's Syrup from Jamaica

Hello Wellesley,
I have tried to look for Kelly's Syrup here in Dover, DE, but have not been able to find the syrup anyway. Is there a company that I would be able to buy this syrup online from?

ANSWER: by Kesha Stewart

Hello Linda,
Thanks for your question; it sent me searching the internet and talking to my mom to get the info for you. I was most pleasantly surprised because I had absolutely no idea that this brand was still around.

My online checks indicate that Kelly’s brand syrup is available at several places including KingstonKornerShop.com as well as amazon.com. and Sam’s Caribbean Marketplace (sams247.com); Sam’s reports that it has the syrup at the lowest price, but hey you can feel free to check other sources.

It warmed my heart to find this old time Jamaican Brand is still around. Especially since February 23, 2018 is Jamaica Day here on the island.

We will use the time to celebrate all the wonderful things (old and new) which make Jamaica really special. My family bought Kelly’s products, which were frequently advertised on the radio, when I was a child. I remember the tagline "It’s Ok It’s Kelly’s."

At that time there were also soft drinks (sodas) in the product line.

New! You can order Kelly's Syrup at amazon here.

By the way friend, what are planning to make when your Kelly’s syrup is delivered? I learned that the strawberry flavor is great form making rum punch (this website has info on that process).

If you just want a refreshing non alcoholic drink, strawberry is still great as is the kola champagne syrup. The ginger beer flavor should add a little zip in your sip when the ginger beer flavor hits your taste buds.

Let me know which of the three available flavors you liked best or maybe you can share what you actually made with your Kelly’s Syrup. Whatever the case do remember: "It’s Ok It’s Kelly’s."
