When I lived in Jamaica between 1974-79 one year I bought a turkey from a florist shop.
Evidently the owner had a little bit of land (up in the mountain maybe) and took orders for turkeys. II believe the florist shop was near the eastern end of Hope Road.
It is so cold here in north Georgia and snow covers the ground. What I wouldn't give to be back where it is warm.
I also remember a small restaurant in new Kingston, I believe called The Copper Pot. We always ordered cheese fondue there.
Some times on Sundays we would go to the buffet at the Pegasus hotel.
However my most favorite was Blue Mountain Inn. Always had excellent food there.
Although never very good at tennis I did play at Ligueani club a lot. It has been about 38 years but I still have such warm memories and a lot of love for a place I call my second home.
How I wish I could see it one more time.
That's all for now. M M Walker
