Contest Entry #002 - Road Trip In Jamaica
I love, love, love driving around Jamaica. Taking a road trip means sights and sounds, and food, that enlighten and stimulate all the senses.
I had the great pleasure of meeting someone from Jamaica while working in London; she now lives in Kingston. What a wonderful person...She offered on one visit back to Jamaica to take me on a road trip for a few days all around the east side of the Island. I always stay on the west side.
The trip to Kingston was adventurous, I used route taxis, and the trip around the east coast was one of the most wonderful and memorable road trips I have taken.
We began in Kingston, stopped at her old work- a university in country, visited a few local churches, Boston Jerk, Long Beach, and Bath, then made our way back to Kingston.
This picture reminds me of that trip and how beautiful Jamaica is and all that it has to offer those that wish to explore.
