Jamaica Independence Article/ Story Contest - Entry #10 - SCOOTING AROUND THE ISLAND
My husband and I have been traveling to Jamaica for 10 years! Over the years we have rode scooters from Negril to Treasure Beach, Negril to Ocho Rios, Ocho Rios to Port Antonio, just to name a few places.
We made many stops along the way meeting some of the kindest locals, always willing to help you with directions, enjoy a Red Stripe, and give you some history of Jamaica.
We have had some of the most memorable times while visiting Jamaica, including getting married at Abequota falls outside of Negril in 2014, also made on scooters with our photographer and officiant.
The massive rain storm was a blessing although it did nothing for my hair. lol
We continue to go every year and hopefully, gods willing, we will make many more memories with some of the most amazing people we have befriended along the way.
