Situated on Jamaica's tranquil south coast, near the border between Westmoreland and St. Elizabeth, is the new Google 5-star rated villa that has captured the hearts of both locals and tourists alike.

My Recent Visit

Maura, the proprietor has been pressing me to visit for a few months now, although it just officially opened this February.

Well, I finally made it, on reason of my wife's birthday getaway!

This time she preferred not to have the excitement and fanfare, just something that would allow her (and me, happy to say) to enjoy a quiet, reflective time together.

And it was exactly what the doctor ordered! We had a wonderful time.

I might not have done it much justice, but I've curated a few photos that I'll share with you right now.

Yes, this is a loaded mango tree! And yes, I got two fit ones :-) By the way, I saw quite a number of young fruit trees, from ackee and orange, to papaya and coconut... especially coconuts, another year or so Maura can invite me to coconut fest :-)

I Should Tell You...

• Amenities includes wifi, cable, smart tv, kayaks, snorkeling equipment, and yes a private beach!
• Ivy's Cove is perfect for corporate meetings, weddings, conferences, retreats and even birthday parties. Maura has a way to transform the villa according to your preferences.
• The price is typically USD$500 per night per room, but she is willing to accommodate locals at special rates.
• Two units are available for rental and each unit sleeps 6 persons (2 rooms x 3 beds per unit)
• A personal chef can be had for just $34 USD per day.
  
• According to Maura, several cultural and reggae music ambassadors have already graced Ivy's Cove. These include Busy Signal, Konanja and Krysie. They love it here!
