4 Adventurous things to do in Jamaica

Although, the areas you describe are wonderful, I am a devoted fan to the South Coast. Because I am not a fan of major tourist areas, here are my recommendations.
- Mayfield Falls is much like Dunne's river but without the tourists. Often just one or two groups are there and the guide assists you to walk up the river and falls.
- Roaring River is a huge cavern with a river running through it. You may sit in the bubbling spa or jump off the ledge into the blue hole in the cave (or you may climb down the stairs like me!)
- Pelican Bar is a bar built in a sand bar off Parottee Beach accessible only by boat. Basil will take you out for a short easy ride.
- YS Falls is absolutely beautiful. Great for all ages with rope swings, picnic areas, gazebos, and two swimming pools. Arrive early to avoid the crowds.
Editor's NoteHi Doc! Good to hear from you!
I know you are a follower and ardent fan of this website, but it is always refreshing to hear from you!
Thank you so much for your suggestions, I certainly cannot disagree with you (All of them are recommended here on the website- by visitors.
I was also at the Roaring River recently and loved it! The cave is quite an experience; I will be sharing that review soon.
By the way a trip down to the south-coast is in order for me. I will be sure to stop by you (Luna Sean Inn), probably for lunch, on that visit.
For those who didn't know, I'm including the
review of Luna Sea Inn so they can check it out, quite an lovely place... highly recommended for those who are looking to stay a few days in tranquility on Jamaica's southcoast.
Thanks again my friend, see you soon!
