If you are planning a tropical getaway for the whole family to the turquoise shores of Jamaica's sunny north coast, Beaches Ocho Rios should top your list of places to stay.

Located in the lush “garden parish” of St. Ann, Ocho Rios is conveniently located within a short distance of some of the island's most popular attractions.

Beaches is not only a place surrounded by natural beauty, but it is also packed with fun surprises for guests of all age

Accommodations

Newly renovated, Beaches' tastefully decorated guest rooms and suites are very spacious, making it easy for families and larger groups to sleep and stay comfortably.

Delightful views of the Caribbean Sea, the St. Ann mountains, and the resort's beautiful gardens are available from the wide selection of accommodations, many also feature a balcony or terrace.

There are larger suites and rooms that sleep up to 4 or 5,  as well as more intimate ones for two people, most of which offer a choice of one king-sized or two double beds, and all provide a double-sized pull-out sofa.

Each room is air conditioned, has a state-of-the-art plasma television and data port, and a full array of handy amenities including microwave, mini-fridge with soft drinks, coffee maker, hair-dryer, iron and ironing board,  in-room safe, and toiletries. Airport transfers are available to all guests. 

Recreation And Leisure

The fun never ends at Beaches with a huge selection of exciting activities for every member of the family.  

Soak up some sunshine on the resort's private beach, or take part in some exhilarating water-sports such as snorkelling, sailing, windsurfing, hydro-biking, and kayaking, and enjoy a scenic glass-bottom boat ride or learn to scuba dive. Still not tired of getting wet?

Take a dip in one  of the five swimming pools, soak in a whirlpool, or if you are looking for even more adventure, take a thrilling ride down your choice of eleven fabulous waterslides at Pirates Island, Beaches very own water park which also features a kids' play area with sprayers, cannons, pumps and everything needed for a splashing good time!

Golfers have come to the right place, since all green fees and equipment are included for aspiring golf pros of all ages at the 18-hole challenging golf course.

There are fun programmes for kids, many with a Sesame Street theme, as well as teen programmes, and tons of other games and activities to choose from including an X-Box Play Lounge, billiards, table tennis, basketball, tennis, and a fitness centre.  

The Red Lane Spa, is the perfect place to unwind after a busy day and treat yourself to one of their soothing massages, facials, or body-wraps which are available for an additional fee.

Club Liquid is a lively club where you can dance the night away,  it even has a time for the under twenty one crowd to party before the adults show up and alcoholic beverages are served. 

Restaurants & Bars

Beaches offers you a full range of delectable culinary experiences at its seven excellent restaurants. Besides three meals each day, snacks are also available to guests whenever they feel like having a bite to eat.

Choose from traditional Jamaican, Italian, or American Southwest cuisines, and indulge in specialties such as barbecue jerk chicken, French-style crepes, and fresh seafood entrees.

No reservations are needed for any of these lovely dining options, and casual dress is allowed. Each has its own hours of operation.

There are also numerous bars including swim-up pool bars where you can relax and sip one of the resort's signature cocktails, or choose from an extensive list of wines, liquors, and other beverages.
