If you need to choose between the two, Hyatt Zilara will have a slight edge over Hyatt Ziva for adults. Staying at Hyatt Zilara gives you access to Hyatt Ziva as well, but this is not vice versa since Zilara is an adult only.

What is the difference between Hyatt Ziva and Zilara?

The main difference between both Hyatt resorts is the age limits. Hyatt Ziva is family-friendly, however, Hyatt Zilara is an adult-only resort, so only ages 18 and over are accepted.

• FuZion Asian Grill -  this restaurant is for lovers of Asian cuisine. Enjoy the teppanyaki grill station shows by skilled chefs, and specialties like Vietnamese summer rolls, beef pad Thai and green curry chicken. There is also a kids' menu. 


• ChoiceZ Buffet Restaurant - hot and cold buffets, live cooking stations and nightly themed dinner buffets.


• Barefoot JerkZ - traditional Jamaican jerk shack, enjoy spicy jerk chicken or pork as you head to the beach with an ice-cold drink. 


• BiteZ Deli & Café - a casual café that serves the best Jamaican coffee, sweet treats, pastries, ice cream, cookies and fresh homemade desserts. 


• Union Jack’Z Pub - enjoy tavern-style foods, like fish and chips,  and a selection of international beers and spirits. In the night, party until 2 am as the DJ keep the party jumping.

Whether you are looking to relax or to participate in more physically engaging activities, Hyatt Ziva has put in place many options for you. If you are travelling with a family including young children there are plenty of activities that the entire family can do together.

• Water activities including kayaking and snorkelling
• Beach volleyball, pool basketball, cornhole, and more
• Dance lessons
• Yoga, Pilates, boot camp, and cardio mix classes
• KidZ Club playground, game room, and lounge

KidZ Club

Little ones may join in the island fun at the KidZ Club, which includes beach sports, arts and crafts, and other fascinating activities and games. In the evenings, children can attend PJ and disco parties, while older children can visit the Teen Club, which has foosball, air hockey, and computer games.

The gaming room is open from 6 pm to 9 pm. The club is open daily from 8 am to 5 pm. They accept children aged 3 to 12, but children under the age of 3 should be toilet trained.

Caribbean Island Adventures 

By bicycle, zip line, or white river tubing, you may explore Jamaica's jungles. Visit the Rose Hall Great House or the Croydon Plantation for a historic tour. At Dolphin Lagoon, you may swim with dolphins or ride a horse along the shore.
