For more than seventy years, this quaintly elegant hotel has been welcoming guests to its inviting facilities and private beach.
A stay here is guaranteed to be truly memorable in every way, as all of the little details which make a vacation enjoyable are present and accounted for at this award-winning, all-inclusive resort.
Accommodation Offered
You will be pleased with the selection of beautiful suites and cottages available at this unique hotel; each of them has its own special character and style.
In the main building there are comfortable suites on both the ground floor and upper level, the former offer furnished balconies and the latter verandas also complete with furnishings, both of which have spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea and the impressive mountains.
If you desire more privacy, you may wish to book one of the one or two bedroom cottages, each with their very own swimming pool and direct access to the ocean.
Some of these cottages are situated on their own private cove or peninsula for the ultimate feeling of “getting away from it all” Splendid antiques grace every luxurious, air-conditioned suite and cottage at the Jamaica Inn, and guests have their choice of either twin or king-sized beds.
In each type of accommodations you will find a stocked mini-fridge, hair-dryer, safe, toiletries, robes, and there is a nightly turn-down service.
While the resort emphasizes the beauty of the natural surroundings and does not provide televisions, radios, or clocks in its guest accommodations, there is a Wi-Fi service available at no additional cost for those who wish to stay connected with the outside world during their stay, and there is also a telephone in every room.
This hotel is one which generally caters to an adult clientele, during its busiest season in the winter, only children twelve years of age or older may accompany their families, and during the quieter summer months, this minimum age drops to ten.
What Amenities/Activities Are Offered At Jamaica Inn Resort?
Besides taking a dip in refreshing waves of the ocean or soaking in the sunshine on the resort's 700-foot, crescent-shaped beach, there are lots of other fun activities on the property or nearby for you to enjoy during your stay at the Jamaica Inn.
Swim in the pool, or try your hand at sunfish sailing, kayaking, or snorkelling at the beach. You can play croquet on the manicured grounds, or work out in the exercise room where you will find a selection of weights and fitness equipment.
Arrangements for horseback riding, golf, diving, sailing, windsurfing, and tennis can also be made for those who enjoy or wish to learn these activities at facilities in close proximity to the hotel, at an additional cost.
Tours to local attractions such as the amazing Dunn's River Falls can also be arranged by the gracious front desk staff.
Guests travelling on business have the use of the hotel meeting room which can accommodate up to twenty people, and comes equipped with audiovisual equipment as well.
There is a gift shop where you can find a nice assortment of useful items you may have forgotten to pack and interesting souvenirs for sale.
The KiYara spa is the perfect place to enjoy pampering yourself with one of their many soothing body or facial treatments, which are yours for an extra fee.
Dining At Jamaica Inn Resort
When you holiday at the Jamaica Inn Resort, expect a wonderful dining experience! Not only will you be served three delicious meals every day, but you can also partake in a pleasant afternoon tea, offered between lunch and dinner.
The varied menu features a wide selection of succulent international and local entrees and appetizers to suit every palate, and in most cases diners have the freedom to choose between eating in their own suite, on the beach, or seated at a table on the terrace.
In addition, cocktails and hors d'oeuvres are offered each evening. Appropriate dress must be worn during the dinner and cocktail hours.
