Article: Best Photographers In Jamaica

We can all take pictures but not everyone can capture the beauty that's usually hidden in plain view -Sanjo Jendayi

Let's face it - gone are the days when our brother in law or best friend, or perhaps the one who could afford the camera take the pictures - nuh true?

Yup, but we've evolved so much now that it is a certainty that no occasion, especially your wedding, will go ahead without an experienced photographer with his camera.

And for good reason!  Not only does,.as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words, pictures create memories and a record in history - and that's exactly what your special moment is - a history making event!

And so, this moment cannot be left to chance; you want, and deserve, the very best!

And you need more than just the basic photography skills and experience, you need professionalism, character, empathy, dependability and trustworthiness in that person.

I am proud to say that we boast some of the very best professional photographers anywhere in the world - right here in Jamaica, some of who have won international acclaim!

Some of them, from my research, that easily comes to mind include:

  1. Adrian McDonald
  2. Dean Clarke
  3. Diana Campbell,
  4. Richard Brown
  5. Obrian Gordon
  6. Merrick Cousley
  7. Michael Chen
  8. Marcia Roberts
  9. Nicole Brown &
  10. Mikhail G. Nation

...of course, in no particular order :-)

Can I say though that, all others been equal, the trust factor is the most important to me?

And it should be for you too... especially so, if you are outside of Jamaica... believe me I totally understand the concerns on about doing business here.

That's the very reason I will hasten to recommend someone who I have known for years, a highly respected, Christ-centered gentleman and a personal friend... Mr. Mikahail. G. Nation - yes the same person listed at #10 above :-)

His company is called Peace Photography. Can I have him introduce himself to you?

Mikhail Nation & Peace Photgraphy

Hi, My name is Mikhail G. Nation.

I started Peace Photography at the age of 21, but even at that young age I discovered that Photography is my gift of expressive art, one which I express both locally and internationally.

For one to be talented to use a camera and manipulate it in such a manner that it captures the deep contrast,  the illustrious saturation of God's creation, the exemplary details in a person, or on any object… well that’s a gift if you ask me, one worth sharing with the World!

I’m an individual that is passionate and driven not only by such but by hospitality, making people happy, warm and comfortable in any surrounding.

I’ve received multiple testimonials from my international clients of how I made their day and have received recommendations internationally as such.

Peace Photography doesn’t only meet your needs… we 'see' way past that, we surpass them, all the while making you smile ;-)

Believe me, this man is special. By the way, he is much older than he looks :-)

I got his permission to share a few of these pics, depicting his own work, from his portfolios with you.
