Re: What Makes Jamaica Special
Jamaica despite its varied problem is still the place I call home and where many visitors are drawn to.
Take for example the climate we have sunshine all year round. Regardless of the crime statistics Jamaicans are the most hospitable and friendliest people you will find anywhere in the world, they might not be friendly to each other, but our visitors are always given the red-carpet treatment.
Going downtown you will find the Chinese, Japanese and Indians having businesses in places where some born and bred Jamaicans don't venture. The culture of its music is copied throughout the world especially dance hall and reggae. Jamaicans are known internationally for their athletic prowess e.g. Usain bolt, their beauty e.g. MS Jamaica universe and MS world,
and their singing ability e.g. Bob Marley.
Jamaica is also renown for the good cally weed or marijuana.
Finally, times in Jamaica is tough financially, but I would not want to live anywhere else in the world.
