Appleton Rum Estate Tour

Some of the best rum in the world is produced in Jamaica. The Appleton Estate Tour will give you a private tour of a famous location in Jamaica's colourful past. The Estate is situated in the St. Elizabeth parish in Nassau Valley. You will see the grounds and buildings are lovely and well-maintained as soon as you enter The Appleton Estate.

You are first led to the lobby, where you are given a free rum punch. You will discover the rums of Appleton Estates' historic production process throughout this trip. In addition to learning about distillation in their 200-year-old pot stills and seeing one of the Estate's barrel rooms where rums are aged to perfection, you will observe previous techniques used to extract sugarcane juice.

You can sample molasses and freshly squeezed sugar cane juice while doing the tour. The tour concludes with a demonstration of the oak barrel ageing process. The tour's tasting as much rum as you can handle maybe its best feature. There are 13 different rum varieties to try.

Loverโ€™s Leap

Want a little romance? This one is for couples as it is considered one of the most romantic spots on the island. According to legend, a loving slave couple decided to flee together rather than allow a jealous plantation owner to separate them.

When the lovers rushed to the cliff's edge, where there was a roughly 1,700-foot drop, the moon caught them in a golden net. As the moon slowly sank below the water, they stood together in this net.

Whether this is real or not is another matter, but there is no denying the breathtaking views. Children and everyone who appreciates a stunning view will also enjoy it, even if it is a romantic location for couples.

YS Falls

Ys Falls opened its doors in 1992 as a natural attraction where visitors can enjoy the splendour of the waterfalls in their natural habitat, which is a verdant garden with towering trees. There are seven tiers of waterfalls, some of which drop into pools of water. It's advised to wear river shoes because certain parts are extremely rocky.

Lush gardens and majestic trees line the perimeter of the waterfalls. Family picnics or day trips are ideal on the expansive lawns. Natural swimming pools fed by underground and above-ground springs are a nice addition to these.

Floyd's Pelican Bar

The South Coast of Jamaica's Parottee Bay is home to Floyd's Pelican Bar, which has to be one of the most unusual locations to eat and drink. It is a tiny driftwood-built bar that is perched atop a huge sandbar about 1/4 mile offshore.

This out-of-the-way restaurant in the middle of the ocean requires a 20-minute boat voyage to reach. Once there, you can have some fresh lobster or fish, swim in the shallow ocean water, sip a refreshing beer, and sunbathe.

Don't forget to bring something special to leave behind because the interior is decorated with artefacts from other cultures.

Black River Safari Tour

Watch Video! Black River Crocodile Tour

A trip to the Black River can be the ideal way to experience nature up close and perhaps encounter live crocodiles. On a Black River safari, you may leisurely enjoy taking in the area's gorgeous foliage while you float along the stream.

You'll discover much more than you anticipated about the fauna, the unique birds, and the marshes of Jamaica along the way. You can expect to witness a variety of swamp wildlife on any given day, including the critically endangered American crocodile, which you might observe relaxing by the riverbanks.

You can occasionally see newborn crocodiles as well as crocodiles of all different sizes. The Wildlife Protection Act of Jamaica protects crocodiles.

Treasure Beach

Six miles of coral-coloured and occasionally black sands, secluded coves, and rugged shores make up Treasure Beach. You will be only a short distance from the beach once you arrive because there are large hotels right on the shore.

This magnificent beach blends the breathtaking golden sand with the azure waves of Jamaica's southern coastal waters. It extends for miles and is peppered with mostly unassuming hangouts.
