Want to go to Jamaica -should I go?

by CRAM
(Dago)

QUESTION: I have a friend in Jamaica. He is a really cool guy, and an excellent artist. I have been in the tattoo business my whole life, and am just going up on 60 years old.

I feel that I can possibly pass on my expertise to him. He is in his thirties. John (not his real name) has been telling me that Jamaica is the place for me.

I will find enough work to keep me busy tattooing, and if I find the right area, have no problems introducing myself. I plan on handing my business over to him.

The bulk of this will be my expertise, not equipment, as I have already made it clear to him that I am willing to start him off, but he will be on his own. I just want to go fishing.

I am Native Canadian, I live in San Diego, and being a tattoo artist, have been around the block a few times in my life.

I am an educated man, would be more then happy to use my expertise to help out by way of mechanics, and teaching children in what I know.

I would gladly give my services to a church or charitable organization for no cost. I always have my tattooing to fall back on.

I love gardening, nature, art, and learning new things. Most importantly I want to go fishing.

My wife Ju Li from Taiwan is willing to let me take off and join up with me later. I have just about caught all the fish here. Time to move on....

Go and Live Life NEW
by: Aine

Hi! Cram
I love San Diego and have visited many countries in this world but I went to Jamaica last year for a month and was sad to leave. The people are so warm, polite and friendly. The sights are amazing, the food and rum well for me Jamaica has it all.In fact this June I'm going back for a month and I can't wait. Go to Jamaica and you'll see you won't be disappointed.

Want to go to Jamaica - should I go? NEW
by: Devin

Hi Cram

Happy that you have decided on making Jamaica your next stop. Indeed it will be a pleasure to have you here as your expertise is needed in body painting. This is a new craze that has taken over, especially with the children, as everybody wants to have their face or body painted into his or her favourite choice of picture.
We can only tell you about Jamaica but until you have experienced her for yourself you will not be able to join the masses is saying that Jamaica is really the destination that has you falling in love with her over and over again.
Wishing you all the best when you get here.

Visiting Jamaica NEW
by: Rachael Graham

Hi Cram,
I think every one should see Jamaica for themselves, Yes and it is wise to know more than one person that will be willing to take you around. Wellesley Knows people with accommodation where you can stay.
I am an Artist also and I love Jamaica. I just want to encourage you that your art work can be done on things like pottery, enamel, wood and other type of material including canvas.
If you would like to share your skills with young people here in Jamaica that would great. Some of that artistic skills could even be done on paper to create comics and children books it's just a thought.
Kind regards
Blessings
