Kingston, Jamaica, is known for many things, but luxurious resorts are not on that list. It is known as the island’s primary commercial and entertainment hub. However, like everywhere else in Jamaica, it is filled with history and has many great locations that will teach you about our island and culture.
While you won’t find any all-inclusive resorts in Kingston, you will find many accommodations, from grande luxurious ones to small bed and breakfasts and motels.
One of the newest resorts in the capital city is the AC Hotel by the well-known Hotel group, the Marriott.
Within the Golden Triangle, the centre of New Kingston's business and entertainment, the AC Hotel Kingston, Jamaica, is located on six acres of island greenery. Their unrivalled hotel is just 10 miles from Norman Manley International Airport, so your trip to Jamaica can start as soon as your plane touches down.
At their exclusive outdoor pool and bar, unwind island-style while enjoying a delectable menu of international cuisine. You can also visit their boutique hotel's AC Lounge after you explore Kingston; it's a hub renowned for its creativity during the day and social energy at night.
In this contemporary setting, created with the entrepreneurial spirit in mind, you can discuss ideas or make final adjustments to a presentation during the day. At night, the AC Lounge is the ideal location for enjoying freshly made signature cocktails and sharing tapas-style hors d'oeuvres.
If you enjoy the modern, minimalistic lifestyle, you will love the AC Hotel. At AC Hotel, they have designed a thoughtful hotel experience.
Their guest rooms are thoughtfully planned with details like outlets placed exactly where you need them to maximise openness and reduce clutter. They have three different types of rooms; guest rooms, larger guest rooms and suites.
You will find that most rooms have similar designs and some basic features can be found in each room, such as:
Kingston, Jamaica, has many restaurants of different cultures and cuisines for you to choose from. However, if while staying at the AC Hotel you rather not venture out and prefer to stay on-site, they have you covered. AC Kitchen is open daily and proudly offers hot breakfast options made with European influences. At our restaurant in Kingston, we serve hearty and nutritious meals like eggs benedict, fresh pastries, fruits, cheeses, and artisan-cured meats.
Visit AC Lounge for authentic Spanish food with a European twist. This restaurant and bar has a relaxed atmosphere and serves tasty tapas and meals for lunch and dinner. Our talented bartenders also serve inventive cocktails, wine, and ales.
Enjoy your favourite beverage while soaking up the beautiful sun at our outdoor pool deck and bar. Kingston, Jamaica's outstanding bar scene is the ideal place to relax with a drink in your hand and take in the breathtaking island views.
Also, you do not have to be a guest staying at the AC Hotel to dine there, non-guests are also welcome.
People are a lot more in tune with their health and fitness. If you are visiting the AC Hotel, you do not have to worry about putting your fitness regime on pause as they have a well-equipped fitness centre with all the basic equipment that you would need. You will find:
