Jamaica is not primarily known for its fine dining restaurants. However, the Jamaican culinary world has expanded significantly and now, more fine dining options are offering international cuisines. Kingston, Jamaica seems to be the home of these restaurants.

Here are some of the top fine dining restaurants in Kingston, Jamaica.

1. Uncorked

Are you a lover of a good glass of wine? If yes you are sure to enjoy your dining experience at uncorked. Uncorked was born out of a passion for fine wine and the finest cheese from across the world.

While their menu is amazing and offers many delights they encourage you to take a moment, or two, to savour the enticing flavours of our hand-picked wine and cheese. By the bottle or by the glass, they offer luxury and premium wines.

The 'By The Glass' wine dispenser allows you to sample ten different wines in three and five-ounce pours.

2. Broken Plate

Broken Plate is an indoor/outdoor dining location with an open-air rooftop terrace meant to create a relaxing environment in the centre of Kingston. The food at Broken Plate is focused on seasonal dishes with a mix of local and foreign influences.

Local market items provide robust flavours that engage all of the senses during the dining experience. As you watch the sunset, eat wonderful cuisines while sipping on the finest wine selections and cocktails, offering something for everyone.

It is definitely one of the “see and be seen” Instagram-able spots in Kingston.

3. Fromage Brasserie

We are a gourmet European-Jamaican fusion restaurant that provides outstanding service in a modern, aesthetically beautiful setting. Fromage has been in business for around seven years.

With a large open space and a wide range of culinary selections, including pasta, steaks, burgers, wines, and drinks. Fromage is open seven days a week, with weekend brunch.

4. Chez Maria Restaurant

For the past seventeen years, they've been serving Jamaica as a family-owned business. They specialize in preparing Mediterranean-style, Lebanese and Italian cuisines. Enjoy Lebanese dishes such as Tabouleh, Grape Leaf Mehshi and Beef Sambousik.

On their Italian menu, you will find popular dishes such as Pollo Parmigiana, Filet Mignon Alla Griglia and Fettuccini Alfredo Lobster.

5. The Coppers

The Coppers is a concept created from years of experience at the "Heathers Garden Restaurant," which was previously open. Heather and Wayne decided to reopen the restaurant with a fresh design and feel, combining two eateries into one.

One is a fine dining establishment that serves world cuisine in a setting surrounded by beautiful art, and the other is a casual cafe that serves meals beneath the stars.

The Copper Cellar offers international fine dining cuisine with dishes such as Lobster, Crab and Sweet Corn Queso, Vegetable Tikka Masala and Chargrilled Frenched Lamb Chops. The Copper Garden Bistro offers an a la carte menu with dishes such as Seafood Dip with Tostones, Smoked marlin pasta salad and Bacon Wrapped Filet Mignon.

6. Jade Garden Restaurant

The exquisite design of Jade Garden is perfectly merged with the essence of indoor flora, offering a warm and distinctive dining experience for traditional Chinese cuisine. Their most requested dishes are Peking Duck, Roast Pork, and their unique Pimento Steak, which is served on a hot sizzling platter with infused flavours.

Additionally, customers can choose from an a-la-carte menu of delectable Cantonese dim sums. The executive chef is also happy to construct bespoke meals to meet the needs of clients for business, social, or family occasions.

Guests can dine in the main restaurant, which has a 90-degree panoramic window view of the lush mountains, or in one of the two private rooms, which accommodate ten and forty people respectively and have a private bar in the former.

7. The Chive

Prepare to experience some of the most visually appealing and delicious dishes at this contemporary-style, fine dining restaurant. Enjoy exquisite main dishes such as chickpea and pumpkin chicken roulade, herb-crusted fish fillet and honey garlic pork tenderloin.

They have an extensive selection of wine and some tasty cocktails as well. Join them for brunch, lunch or dinner.

There are also countless options both fine dining and otherwise, at Jamaica’s first gastronomic centre at Devon House. You are never short of great restaurants in Kingston!
