1. SeaGarden Beach Resort
SeaGarden Beach Resort is one of the best when it comes to budget vacations in Montego Bay. The 140-room, Jamaican family-owned and operated resort are perfect for inexpensive family getaways without having to sacrifice the quality of your accommodation. The hotel is across the road from the beach, but that is where their private cove is located. The pool however is located on the “resort” side of the hotel.
It is all-inclusive which means all the food and drinks available are included in your package. Be prepared to taste the best of Jamaican cuisine as they do it extremely well. The games room is an exciting place for the kids and kids at heart or you can head to the tennis lawn for a few matches. There is also a gym on the property to keep your health goals in check.
For entertainment, there are special themed nights including Jamaica, Karaoke and Fire Dancing. The homeyness of the SeaGarden is brought out by warm hospitality and the tastefully decorated rooms and suites. Each room, whether standard or penthouse is outfitted with furniture made by the staff right on the property.
2. Sandals Inn - Formally Sandals Carlyle
I am sure if you vacation often, the Sandals’ name is one you are familiar with. The brand has been associated with adult getaways to the Caribbean for years and Jamaica being the home of the flagship hotel, it doesn’t disappoint. While the Sandals Inn is the smallest of the 3 Sandals hotels in Montego Bay, it also has its perks.
For one, you will only ever be a 3-minute walk away from the lively Hip Strip and 5 minutes away from the airport. Also, while the Sandals Inn does not have a beach of its own, you can head to the public Dead End Beach, across from the hotel, Doctor’s Cave of the Hip Strip, One Man Beach or to the other two Sandals if you so wish.
As the most intimate of the three, you can have the privileges when you stay at smaller hotels while still getting the lavish all-inclusive feeling at the Sandals Montego Bay and Royal Caribbean.
3. Royal Decameron Cornwall Beach Hotel
The Royal Decameron is located on what was the beautiful Cornwall Beach, so if you are searching for a beachy hotel, the Decameron is one of the best bets. The modern hotel embodies a truly tropical vacation with its dishes, drinks, hospitality and décor.
The 142 standard category rooms and 4 junior suites complete the accommodations offered at Royal Decameron Cornwall Beach Hotel. All rooms and suites showcase the stunning watery expanse of the Caribbean Sea from a balcony or terrace. Each room can accommodate up to 4 people in king or twin beds, depending on your needs.
The dining is all-inclusive for breakfast, lunch, drinks and snacks but dinner serves up delicious dishes inspired by different regions in the world from an a la carte menu.

4. Doctors Cave Beach Hotel
The Doctor’s Cave Beach Hotel is one of the budget options on the strip. One of the best places for a family-friendly vacation is sure to be on the lookout for their family specials, Reggae deals or sizzling summer packages.
Although it is in the centre of the strip they still manage to be as secluded as possible and when you turn in or decide to relax throughout the day, you are not too disturbed by the lively sounds of the outdoors.
Being a guest of the Doctor’s Cave Beach hotel means you get what everyone else pays for, for free, access to the Doctor’s Cave beach.

5. The S Hotel
The newest hotel on the Hip Strip, the modern structure painted all white is the S Hotel. Of all the hotels on the Strip, it is the most luxurious, with Sky Pool Decks and infinity pools galore.
At 120 rooms, you won’t have to worry about there being a large crowd. And with four types of accommodation to choose from you will have only the best, but the Sky Club Suite are definitely the most impressive.
Don’t worry, if you aren’t really on vacation but on business, then the S Hotel caters to you as well, and makes great use of the work desk.
The S hotel perfectly balances, family and couples vacations it is a great option for both.
6. Deja Hotel
You may have thought, being on the Hip Strip meant all expensive hotels, but the accommodations are quite affordable, the Deja Resort being another incredible option.
The 93-room, boutique all-inclusive, is homey and every interaction is with someone you will come to feel as though you’ve known for years. They have 3 room types ranging from a 2 to a 4-person maximum.
These 6 are definitely among the best hotels in Montego Bay, but they are not the only ones. Hotel Glorianna and Toby’s Resort are stalwarts of hospitality in Montego Bay and have been providing the best service and accommodation for unmatchable prices for years.
