Jamaica - I long to be home
by Alicia Ashman-Ramsay
First off...Wellesley, you do a great job!
Readers I tell you, I have such a longing for the day I pack my bags and return to Jamaica for good.
I visit at least 1-3 per year, but it's never enough. I never realized what a Gem we have in Jamaica until I moved to the US. I've been here going 9 years and still can't feel at home.
I wish we Jamaicans could all understand what a treasure we have...even before migrating, because then, we would appreciate Jamaica and each other more.
One Love my peeps...those of us who pray....Please pray that God will open the doors I need to walk through to go back to my first love.
Blessed love.....and Nuff PEACE!
Thank you Alicia. I really enjoy sharing my country with the world; just that I can't find enough time :-)
I also share you sentiments - no place like home.
I do hope that things work out for you so you can get back on 'the rock'.
Thanks again for your note.
P.S. Be like Alicia, share your Jamaican experience or interest
