With so many new Reggae/Dancehall artist on the rise with controversial lyrics many of us have wondered if good music still exist. A lot of us, mainly old school music listeners, have lost hope in the new generation’s music. That has led to people trying to figure out if any new Reggae/Dancehall artist emerging has the potential produce better music.

One artist I believe that has the full potential to bring great music to the Reggae/Dancehall world is Jamaican born, Kasha Rhyma.

The last time I mentioned Kasha Rhyma in an article we talked about his tours with Coast to Coast mixtapes. He did shows in Orlando, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Miami and Connecticut.

With all the shows being a great success, he managed to pull off each gig solo. Now only did he travel on his own he even recorded and edited his performances. You can find those videos on his YouTube page. Specifically out of all the shows he got so much love in Miami and is constantly being contacted to return and perform at major clubs for artist such as Miami live.

After his tours he decided to take a break to work on some new music and head out to the streets to promote his music more. Even with all the good feedback he said it seems as though some people would like to hear the music that is violent. Despite those opinions he still continued to make music releasing his singles “Porno” and “Solution”.

I sat down with Kasha Rhyma to do an interview at his studio over the weekend. It was nice to see him working in his own element, especially knowing that he is self taught.

The sounds of his latest single bounced through the air as we sat down to talk. We touched on topics such as views of Reggae/Dancehall world and the role of an artist.

We also talked about what his new projects and tips on how to promote music outside of radio play. To view this artist’s interview and see his full potential check it out on YouTube and Facebook. You can search for Kasha Rhyma Interview for the full video. You don't want to miss it!!
