The architecture of this hotel offers stunning pathways through the gardens and terraces that lead to two swimming pools, one with services just for adults and the other with everything kids could want. The hotel also features a long dock where guests can sunbathe.

The cottage-style lodgings provide a tropical setting and allow you to relax on the quiet beach and engage in a wide range of water activities. Its restaurants serve a wide variety of food, from traditional Jamaican delicacies to the delicate flavours of Asian cuisine. But of course, I will give you much more details below.

Accommodations at the Royal Decameron Club Resort

The 231 guestrooms of Royal Decameron Club Caribbean have all the comforts and amenities you might want for a wonderful vacation. Cottage rooms, suites, and courtyard rooms are the three different lodging categories available at the resort.

Every room comes with a fully functional bathroom, a TV, air conditioning, and a phone.

  • Garden view cottage guestrooms- scattered across the property are unique, private cottages. Each cottage offers rooms for two people in a king bed with an additional bed, as well as views of the resort's expansive gardens.

  • Oceanfront cottage guestrooms- Similar to garden views in size, facilities, and décor, but with spectacular ocean views and private beach access.

  • Courtyard rooms- Offering serene garden views and all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay, this resort is located further back in the complex. Each guestroom has a king bed that sleeps two people.

  • Suites- Together, they are situated on higher ground and have private balconies with beautiful views of the Caribbean. Each suite has a king bed and additional single beds that can sleep up to four people. Some people can see the ocean, while others can see the mountains.

Restaurants and Bars at Royal Decameron Club

The three restaurants serve Royal Decameron Club Caribbean dishes ranging from the greatest and most authentic Jamaican cuisines to the unusual aromas of Asian fusion cuisine by the sea.

  • Pick a Pepper Restaurant- Located by the main pool, it provides daily various international buffets with lovely outdoor or indoor settings. Breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets are served daily.

  • Jazmine Delta Restaurant- offers a la carte dinners with Asian fusion cuisine and is situated directly by the water.

  • Nyaming Restaurant- A reggae-themed location on the second floor. The local Jamaican dishes are the focus of the must-try a la carte menu.

  • Souk Bar- the main bar of the hotel. While sipping on cool beverages and cocktails by the pool, guests may take in the Caribbean coastline and its turquoise waves.

  • Jetty Bar- is situated on the sea, as suggested by its name. All of your favourite cocktails are available here, along with reggae music and a sea breeze.

  • Adult Pool Bar- Located on the quiet pool.

What to do at Royal Decameron Club

Whether it is to relax at the pool with a cocktail in hand or to enjoy some water sports on the beach you will be certain to find a range of activities at the resort to do. If you want to step off the property, with runaway bay being in such proximity to Ocho Rios, the town of adventure there is so much to do. Some of the places you absolutely must visit include:

  • Mystic Mountain Adventure Park- for fun, exhilarating rides through the rainforest such as zip lining, ATV rides, bobsledding, ragamuffin and more.

  • Dolphin Cove- watch the dolphins perform or dive in and take a swim with them.

  • Dunn’s River Falls- world-renowned falls, after climbing the falls and celebrating at the top, grab a cold beer and relax on the beach.
