Negril is wonderful from a seaside lounge chair with your favourite cocktail in hand, these attractions in Negril promise a vacation like no other.

Negril is wonderful from a seaside lounge chair, a barstool, the pool at your resort or even from your hotel room. But Negril can be a thrilling adventure too or a fun-filled party on a catamaran.

Like life, Negril is a slice of paradise which can be exactly what you make it. Here is a peek at some other things you can do and you may even still get to keep your swimwear on.

Sea Tours

Catamaran Tours are quite popular in Negril and here are a few of the tours offered and by whom:

1. Tiki Pon Da Sea

Reserve your spot and then take up the invitation to “Come Tiki With Me!” from 6 in the morning right up till sunset any day.

Some available packages:

• Lunch Cruise - A 2½ to 3-hour trip to Booby Cay Island. For the luncheon feast, enjoy lobster, fish, or chicken combined with all you can drink including Red Stripe and rum punch.
  
  
• Booze Cruise - I'll leave you to imagine the Booze Cruise, except to let you know that this 90-minute sweep down the 7-mile beach or on the Negril River is rum punch and Red Stripe inclusive but you will need to pay for the other drinks.
  
  
• Coffee Cruise - The coffee cruise should be a delightful experience for the scheduled 90 minutes with as much Blue Mountain Coffee as you like. Rum Cream is at an additional cost.
  
  
• Mimosa Cruise - How about the Mimosa Cruise? It's 90 minutes down the river or the 7-mile beach with mimosas to accompany you all the way through.

On the off chance that none of these offerings tickles your fancy, allow the Tiki crew to customise a tour for you or if you're looking to create that extra little bit of magic, make it a private cruise.

2. Negril Cruise Party by Island Charter

Negril Cruise Party by Island Charter issues a blatant invitation for you to “Join us aboard the finest of equipped Catamarans in the Industry” They guarantee a scintillating catamaran cruise from what is on offer or a personalized cruise. They guarantee that you can snorkel, sunbathe au naturel or simply enjoy a drink from the all-inclusive bar while gazing across the Negril coastline. Breathtaking.

Guess what? They include children on some tours; children 6 - 12 at half price and what's more, if the child is less than 6 years old he/she joins the tour for free.

The crew helpfully provides snorkelling gear and life jackets, shade and restrooms. Aside from the water slide fun, there are beverages a plenty.

3. Yamon Red Stripe Catamaran Cruises

Yah mon! Jamaica nice! And there is more niceness on your horizons when you book a catamaran cruise with Yamon Red Stripe Catamaran Cruises. They have been doing it for over 25 years.

The beautiful shores of Negril, Jamaica and the small Offshore Booby Cay Island are yours to enjoy and what's more, each cruise package includes snorkelling at Negril's picturesque reef equipment provided.

With an open bar at your disposal, a sumptuous meal of either lobster (in the closed season it's substituted for fish) or jerk chicken and of course unending reggae music, the good times are here.

They promise pickup and drop off at your hotel too. Guess what? If you contact them they will “accommodate any reasonable request.”

Their first package is called Island Picnic. It offers a trip to Booby Cay where you can see the wildlife, or have a small island adventure. The inviting beach embraced by clean, soft sand is great for sunbathing and whatever else you can think of. It departs at 10:00 am and returns at 2:00 pm.

Their Sunset Cruise offers exciting opportunities for cliff jumping and swimming in the caves on Negril's famous "West End".

Dinner is in the offing, after which you can absorb mother natures end to the Negril day featuring a most arresting sunset from your vantage point at the famed Rick's Cafe. On your Sunset Cruise, you will get to snorkel Negril’s captivating reef, enjoy a meal of Jamaican Chicken with Rice & Peas and Potato Salads an Open Bar, and of course unlimited reggae music. Join them from 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm.

The most important instruction to remember is “Please take a towel, camera and swimsuit.” To which I’ll add sunscreen and shades, after that you’re sure to have a great time!

Land Tours

Attractions In Negril | Horseback Riding

1. Island Turf Tours

Island Turf Tours offers tours in and around Negril. They will actually take you where ever you want to go here on the island, that is if you do not wish to be confined to Negril. Although there is no hardship in staying in Negril at all. All tours include roundtrip transportation from your hotel in Negril.

One of the tours being offered by Island Turf is a familiarisation tour of Negril known as the “Negril Highlights Tour”. It includes certain specific stops but is also customizable.

Some of the things you can opt to do on the Negril Highlights Tour are; visiting the craft market and various gift ships, meeting and greeting locals, shopping at Times Square and even visiting the Office of Nature in Blood Bay.

They offer a tour of the Negril Craft Market where you can get traditional items such as wood carvings, Jamaican memorabilia, and kette drums which are handmade.

Another tour is the Koyaba Negril Jamaica tour. Koyaba is a restaurant which offers vegetarian and ital food in a tropical setting overlooking the seven-mile beach.

You can dine in a gazebo while you gaze on the sparkling Caribbean Sea or you may relax on the thatched roof while you are served by the friendly and attentive staff.

Island Turf Tours is willing to take you on other Highlight Tours to places such as Montego Bay and the South Coast.

3. Reggae Horseback Riding

Rastafari Experience aims to deliver an authentic rural Jamaican experience on a half-day (3hr) ATV tour from Negril or Montego Bay. The tour has 3 different time spans; 9 am, 12 noon, and 2:30 pm.

Experience the exhilaration of riding on an all-terrain vehicle across rugged country roads way off the touristy paths.

There are loads of thrills as you soak in the breathtaking scenery lavishly splayed out by mother nature. Here is where you will see well-cultivated farms, majestic mountains, idyllic rivers, and tranquil rain forests, with a bonus stop at a natural pool where you can swim. Tantalize your tastebuds with complementary samplings of tropical fruits and a hearty lunch washed down with refreshing bottled water.

The Rastafari tour caters to ages 6-65, with a maximum of 24 persons per group. A limited take-up of the tour will likely result in cancellation. Rescheduling options are offered or you will be fully refunded if you lose interest based on that.
