A true Jamaican, Chester Fowles has been in the tour operating business for many years. I actually met him through his wife Dieon- one of my best friends; she and I went to college and graduated together.

Ches conducts individual and group guided tours all across Jamaica. And of course, with his many years experience, you would appreciate the fact that he knows virtually all the 'nook and cranny' of the island.

Most importantly though he is a genuine, sincere, and 'down to earth' professional man- albeit full of humour.

He talks highly about over-delivering to his customers and so it wasn't surprising to me when I learnt of the great feedback he has been getting from his clients.

Below is actually a recent email excerpt crediting him. Apparently, someone (Carolyn) had recommended him to this particular visitor to the island for a tour; the gentleman almost seemed obliged to show his appreciation.

You can't help feeling his fulfillment and satisfaction!

"I wanted to send off a note to let you know about the wonderful time we all had on the Ocho Rios excursion.

The falls were so remote and beautiful, and Chester was a great tour guide and very professional (both his dress and mannerisms were of very high quality).

Chester took us on a drive to Fern Gully and it was good to see the lay of the land. We then drove to the falls and met with a guy named Kevin.

I would recommend him to anyone for showing the falls. He seemed to know every square inch of all the falls and was helpful when the walking got a little rough.

Chester then drove us to a fantastic outdoor restaurant so we could taste the jerk, it was outstanding..."

"Thanks again for the best excursion we have ever done while cruising!"

-Bruce

And by the way, the Ocho Rios tour is only one of the many tours he does. There are many others including historical site tours, nature and adventure tours, shopping, fishing or caving tours, sightseeing tours, beach tours, birds & botanical gardens tours, river rafting tours, you name it!

So if you are looking for a local who is personable, completely dependable, knowledgeable of the country & the 'must see' areas- but also a professional, I highly recommend you touch base with Ches.

You just need to complete this short form below and he'll be elated to get back in touch with you.
