Contest Entry #014 - Jamaican Creativity
With our uniqueness and creativity, we Jamaicans, are able to use our own natural resources to produce one of a kind handicrafts. Their creativity and artistic skills are excellent and have motivated me to produce this hair accessory made from coconut palm, coconut shell and john crow beads.
The coconut plant and john crow beads, by the way, are popular in our country. They have a wide range of benefits, both medical, and as a means of making craft. The juice from the coconut fruit is a very important ingredient to our famous rice and peas.
The coconut plant and john crow beeds are also greatly known for making fashionable art.
This photograph speaks on behalf of our nation's craftsmen who work in our well-known local craft markets.
Their creativity and artistic skills are excellent and have contributed tremendously to our tourism industry.
They motivated me in a large number of ways and as a result I was urged to create this hair accessory and photograph it. "Tun yuh han mek fashion!". "
