As a matter of fact, my very first horseback riding experience was while I was casually strolling down the Seven-Mile Beach in Negril and I just so happen to run into a rastaman with his horse, offering rides.

It was quite a fun and exhilarating experience, the feel of the horse beneath you is something you will definitely have to get used to if you are new to horseback riding.
While walking the beach in Negril is one way of getting the opportunity to go horseback riding here in Jamaica, that option is not always guaranteed. If having a horseback riding experience is a definite part of your plans, then your best option is to book a tour with a reputable company.
