Photo Contest Entry #52 - Fitness fun at YS Falls 2016
My friend Camille from Kingston, who is also in the picture, asked me to come to a Fitness day trip with her and her fitness group at YS Falls!
The trip was planned for Saturday 17th December 2016, I live in St Elizabeth and I love to work out, so I was happy to come along.
After the fitness portion of the trip was complete we had time to experience the falls by ourselves.
First we went to the top and spent some time jumping into the falls from the swinging rope, which was so much FUN!
Then we began to explore the falls a bit more and slightly below the swing is another section which is more scenic.
I noticed people were taking a lot of posed shots by the waterfall and I wanted to do something a little different.
We can both do a bridge so we did that, even though I couldn't remember the last time I did a bridge and hoped I'd still be able to.
I'm glad we tried because I love the picture so much.
I think this picture captures everything the day was supposed to be about, fitness, enjoying time with friends and noticing the beauty of nature.
I really hope more people visit YS Falls and have as great an experience as I did, perhaps even more because the zipline wasn't running the day we were there, but I still wouldn't change a thing about our day at the falls!
