However, Caribbean-wide, we are considered to be the island that has the most variety; relative to type, price, amenities, activities & location.

That said, the most popular hotels here are the all-inclusives.

They are usually run by large companies and offers - in addition to food & drink; swimming pools, spa amenities, tennis, watersports, various dining options, social activities, entertainment and nightlife!

Many also provides direct transportation to and from our airports. In addition, you typically get free direction, advice or support to the very best sights and attractions in Jamaica.

However, it is said that for travelers looking for a more cultural experience, the smaller hotels, villas and family-run guest houses, can provide a very unique & satisfying experience.

These smaller and non all-inclusives hotels, typically offers standard meal packages: the European Plan (EP); the American Plan (AP); the Modified American Plan (MAP); and the Continental (CP) or Breakfast Plan (BP).

The MAP covers breakfast and dinner while the AP covers three meals daily. The CP includes a light breakfast with your room charge. The EP includes your room only.

However, due to the popularity of the all-inclusives in Jamaica, you generally will not find hotels with an AP plan that are not also considered to be all-inclusive.

Booking a hotel in Jamaica is a breeze these days, there are lots of options, especially online. However, I would suggest you not settle for the first quotation you get though, do your research, there are always great deals on offering!
