If you are looking to be smack in the middle of all the excitement that the Hip Strip in Montego Bay has to offer, Deja all-inclusive resort is at the perfect location for you.

Where Is Deja Resort Montego Bay Located?

The Deja Resort is located at 92 Jimmy Cliff Boulevard, Montego Bay. If you know where Margaritaville or Doctor’s Cave Beach is, then it won’t be hard for you to find the resort.

You may have known this street as Gloucester Avenue in the past, but in 2019 the street was renamed Jimmy Cliff Boulevard in honour of Jamaican’s very own musician, songwriter, actor, reggae singer, the iconic Jimmy Cliff. The musician was born in Montego Bay Jamaica, hence the reason for choosing street in Montego bay to rename in his honour.

Who Owns Deja Resort Jamaica?

The resort, formerly known as The Gloucestershire Hotel, taking its name from its location, was opened in 2016 and is managed and partly owned by Robin Russell.

Accommodations At The Deja Resort Montego Bay

The Deja Resort is certainly on the smaller side with only 93 rooms available. But smaller usually means more homely and that is certainly true with this resort.

The 3-star resort boasts of having some of the most affordable accommodations. There are three types of rooms to choose from:

• Superior rooms - these rooms have a 4 person maximum capacity and offer views of the ocean or mountains.

• Junior suite - these suites give you a private balcony and also have a 4 person maximum capacity.

• King suite - this suite offers turn-down services, concierge services, and additional amenities. It is located on the private suite block, has a private terrace and seating area, and has a maximum capacity of 2 persons.

Amenities At Deja Resort Montego Bay

While the resort is not on a grand scale compared to many other all-inclusive hotels in Montego Bay, it does have quite a few amenities that you may enjoy. 

The resort has a restaurant, lounge, and breakfast buffet for your dining needs - breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all complimentary meals with your stay. If you have dietary restraints, just communicate that to the staff and they will be accommodated.

Now that we know what the dining options are, lets look at the other things they offer. You can enjoy:

• spa services.
• an outdoor pool and a hot tub as well
• business centre, meeting room and conference facilities
• kids Club
• and fitness centre 

The entertainment staff will ensure that you and the entire family have fun activities to do for the duration of your stay.

The resort also offers taxi and shuttle services, babysitting services and a host of others to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The resort is also pet-friendly but call ahead of time to let them know if you will be taking a pet along with you for your stay. 

While the resort has great amenities, one of the best things about this resort is its central location. Its location on the hip strip, which is one of the most tourist-friendly areas in Montego Bay is perfect for those who want to get out of their rooms and do some exploring. Even greater news, it’s only a 5-minute drive from Sangster’s International Airport, so you’ll have to try very hard to miss a flight.

There are many shops and mini-stores that sell authentic Jamaican clothes, many in our national colours, beaded trinkets, popular Jamaican alcoholic beverages and souvenirs to take with you back home.
