The hotel has the enviable luxury of situating - not only on the most preferred beach stretch in Montego Bay, but also on the famous and ever buzzing "hip strip", which is also very close to the airport. The hip strip is virtually where most of the fun happening takes place in Montego Bay.

The hotel is a full all-inclusive, but not just another one. It has a wide array of activities and recreation that may just surpass your expectations. It is known for offering enjoyable entertainment and excellent nightlife alternatives but is also popular for it's exciting water sports activities.

They also have an on site salon where guest are pampered from head to toe. In addition, they boast a games room, where kids go free and enjoy their favourite games! There is just never a dull moment at Royal Decameron.

The hotel is 4-storeys and has well over 100 rooms. I took at peek at Trip advisor and was astounded by some of the recent reviews!

The property itself though, has gone through a number of transitions before it's now owners took charge. One of note was in 2002, when it closed its door, because of what the then owners, Hescov Investment Limited, said was a decision they had to take in the wake of a slowdown in business as a result of the September's terrorist attack on the US. It was operating as the Jack Tar Village. The resort's management company then was Allegro - a subsidiary of the Madrid based Occidental Group. It was eventually reopened in May 2003 as the Montego Beach Hotel.
