Top Hotels in Kingston Jamaica
by Colin Scott

Our island gets over a million visitors each year so you will find that accommodations are available in numbers.

The city of Kingston, the capital, is always bustling, typically with locals and overseas travelers who visit to transact businesses.

The hotels in Kingston Jamaica offer much splendor and luxury to suit the need of the affluent traveler making their stay an extraordinary experience.

The hotel accommodation have different classifications and there is a wide variety to choose from, depending on your preferences and tastes. You can choose from five stars, four stars, three stars, two stars or any other hotel that can match your budget.

You will find these world class hotels are well decorated and maintained with numerous facilities and features for a comfortable vacation. There are amenities such as wedding facilities, concierge services, meeting rooms, laundry services and an information desk that opens twenty-hours and many more.

They also boast facilities such as meeting room, internet access and conference centers.

These hotels you have spacious rooms that features closets, comfortable beds and working tables. The rates will differ at by location but will also depend on whether you are staying at a budget or deluxe hotel.

The deluxe hotels rates are higher but on an average it would be quiet affordable to match your budget, while the budget hotels will have lower rates that will feature regular discounts.

The following are top rated hotels in Kingston Jamaica - yup, the top 10, in my opinion (not in any order)

  1. The Spanish Court Hotel
  2. Strawberry Hill Hotel
  3. The Knutsford Court
  4. The Courtleigh hotel and Suites
  5. Altamont Court Hotels
  6. Terra Nova All Suite
  7. The Courtyard
  8. Liguanea Club
  9. Jamaica Pegasus Hotel
  10. Hotel Four Seasons

There are also other types of accommodation other than hotels that you can also have a comfortable vacation. Similar to the other resort areas on the island, you will find villas, guest houses, apartments and luxurious homes in the elite areas.

The majority of travelers to the city of Kingston visit for business purposes, but you will still find persons who just come to enjoy what the town has to offer.

While staying at any of these locations you have easy access to enjoy all the attractions and activities that can be found in the city and its environs.

There are numerous tours, shopping, entertainment, restaurants, beaches, historical sites and numerous attractions for you to enjoy.

You might find that this resort is not similar to the other major resort areas especially on the north coast. Kingston is a rambling city and although it is the smallest parish on the island there are a lot of people living there.

The beaches that can be found extensively in areas such as Montego Bay and Ocho Rios, you will not find them in this town. However, while staying in Kingston you can enjoy beaches in the environs to get that well needed sun tan.

Kingston is where one could consider the business and entertainment center of Jamaica. The New Kingston area is where you find all your modern conveniences and a pulsating night life.

When you stay at the hotels in Kingston Jamaica you are indeed enjoying the best of both worlds!
