Looking to shop for authentic coffee? Here is where to buy Jamaican coffee and circumvent the imposters.

This old Jamaican folk song which has been sung widely by Jamaicans says it all!  The world at large agrees that nothing beats a steaming cup of coffee. 

How you take it is your choice.  You can enjoy it in the morning, at noon time or at night.  Whether you like it black (with or without sugar), with a little cream or cream and sugar, coffee is awesome!

Of course, coffee connoisseurs will attest to the fact that not all coffee packs that flavour, richness and aroma like Jamaican Blue Moutain Coffee. 

The Jamaican Coffee has been branded under several entities, including Jablum, Amber Estate, Blue Mountain, Salada, Wallenford Blue, Coffee Roasters, & Baronhall Estate.

While the Jamaican Coffee thrives well in the Caribbean climate, the most prevalent area of growth spans out across the Blue Mountains of Portland. 

And, just as high and cool as the mountains are, so are the quality, aroma and taste of the Blue Mountain Coffee.

So, since we can’t all climb the Blue Mountains, pick those succulent berries and ferment them every time we want a cup of coffee, how do we get it? 

Of course, we go shopping. 

Locally, Jamaican Coffee can be bought from:-

• Gift shops at the two major airports
• Coffee shops
• Resort shops
• Supermarkets
• Duty free shops

And internationally, Jamaican Coffee is much more available than in the past.  My first suggestion would be to check your:

• Local markets
• Supermarkets or
• Jamaican or Caribbean store.

But be careful of the imposters though! Many have been trying to cash in on this brand with fake and substitutes, so look carefully.

And with the internet technologies available now, you can literally stay in our beds and purchase authentic Jamaican coffee, right here in Jamaica.
