QUESTION:
I need to find a coin dealer in Jamaica for Jamaican and British coins.
ANSWER: by Wellesley October 4, 2010
Hi Joan,
I am not aware of any other local coin dealers, but did you try the Bank of Jamaica? Their number is 922-0750. They are probably your best resource. You will need to ask for the coin teller.
If they can't help, they might at least be able to direct you to the right place.
I'll leave the question open for others to post comments as well.
I was also here to find local coin dealers. I already visited the Bank Of Jamaica and they are not willing to pay not even a quarter of what the coins are worth. I need to find another source.
