Where can you find the latest Jamaican cartoon pictures? I am going to recommend the top sources to you right now.

Just before though, I must let you know that I am a huge fan of cartoon, all types! The cartoonist in Jamaica really take cartoons to a different level though, seriously. They do a tremendous job presenting real, raw, topical and even delicate issues/happenings in Jamaican in the most create,impressive, yet comical ways.

These cartoons I refer to are for the most part, are created by the three persons I consider the most artistic in their trade here in Jamaica.

They are Clovis Brown from the Jamaica Observer, Las May from the Jamaica Gleaner and Clayton Powell from the Western Mirror newspapers. These guys are 'tough' - really good.

Incidentally, it was just a few weeks ago and had the pleasure of interviewing Clovis on this website, yep! That was really exciting for me. I know Clayton Powell personally He and I worked together for a short while (doing accounting) in Montego Bay. We are still good friends today.

The cartoon above was sent to me by Clovis. He indicated that it is one of his all time favourite and it is not hard to see why, isn't it? Look a little deeper, you'll notice that he is depicting the nature of our political system - the two political parties are captured here.

So where can you find some of their latest (and best) Jamaican cartoons?

You can find Clovis' latest cartoons at the Jamaica Observer's website. Every day a new one is published, plus I think they display up to the last twelve.

You can find Las May's latest cartoons here at the Jamaica Gleaner's website. They currently displays the most recent two.

As I mentioned earlier, Clayton's cartoons can be found in the Western Mirror, however, although their website is currently under construction, you would still not be able to see his cartoons online. They are only available in the printed edition.

That said, do enjoy the others. I hope you love them as much as I do - real, serious, stuff depicted in the most humorous ways!
