Can you picture a mystical architectural creation crafted to fit in with the surrounding landscape. With lush gardens and a flight of stairs carved in a cliff and descending into the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea allowing you to snorkel in the company of beautiful tropical fish.

Is this a newly developed property? Good question. “Definitely not since it was established in 1972 and changed owners in 1994 when it was purchased by a group from “Down Under”.

I sure would.  Jean-Henri Morin, according to the hotel’s official website, has overseen the architectural development of Rockhouse since 1994.

He performed a most incredible marriage between architecture and the environment, a marriage solemnized not only in design but also in the way the hotel operates. Even the food here is organic, grown on the property in its gardens.

This guarantees that whether you are an environmental enthusiast or a health conscious individual, you will feel right at home at the Rockhouse Negril.
