My First Visit To Jamaica - but definately not my last!

My niece Jemma has been with her partner who hails from Jamaica, and they decided to get married on the beach at Ocho Rios in April this year (2011).

We arrived at hotel late at night, and although I knew it was on the beach, and could hear the sea, I could not see the view.

The next morning I went out onto the balcony and was completely bowled over, the view from Ocho beach was amazing, and we were right on the beach!

During our week we had the wedding, a visit to Alexandria, and Huddersfield, Dunns River Falls and a church service. The locals could not do enough for us, the island, it's culture, music and food was amazing.

I would definitely recommend Jamaica, enough to say, that one way or another I will be going back there, it is a beautiful island, with welcoming people.
