I've done the legwork for you, here's a a listing of some of the finest houses for sale in Jamaica.
For the most part, these listings are posted by local real estate companies & Realtors, who are entrusted to transact business on behalf of developers or other locals.
Of course by now I need not repeat myself about all the benefits of acquiring a house in beautiful Jamaica, I already gave a short background on the real estate page.
Admittedly, the acquisition of a house, in fact, any real estate in Jamaica for that matter is cumbersome and time consuming, but it has been getting better, much better. A knowledgeable and professional adviser on Jamaican real estate would certainly help to speed things up a bit too.
By the way, it appears to me that in many cases the prices posted to foreigners always seems be at a premium so it may not be a bad idea to get background information from a local first. Who knows? you may just make a significant saving!
Needless to say that like with all other transactions involving a significant investments, you still need to do your due diligence.Please, do your due diligence!
