Sandi Brown - visited Jamaica 9 times!

I love Jamaica! I've visited 9 times--twice alone! Never felt a threat there! Thinking about relocating there too! I really wish this site had a blog for relocating and talking to expats. Would love to open business in JA.

After so much visits I think you have earned the right to call Jamaica 'home' now.

I have taken note of your wish - a blog for relocating and talking to expats in Jamaica. That is a good one, I agree.

I'll think on it to see if and what we can come up with.

I am also going to refer you to a few pages that might provide you a bit more on migrating to Jamaica, as well as one on setting up a business here in Jamaica.

First and foremost I see that you are from Philadelphia! I too reside there (unfortunately it's not Jamaica!) I have been to Negril, Jamaica 3 times; once in 1974 and then again in 1976.

Of course at that time the only thing there as far as lodgings were Rick's cafe and some communal cottages to stay in. I feel in love immediately with Jamaica.

Life went on & I haven't been back to Jamaica since this past September 2014 where I stayed at an all inclusive also in Negril. I am looking to schedule another trip for this upcoming winter (brrr!)

Any input from you as far as where to stay, go & what to do would be greatly appreciated from such a seasoned Jamaica visitor. Look forward to hearing your comments. Peace

Hi Wellesley! Thanks for your reply. The pic of the "cake" is not a real cake. It is a candle. I am hoping to bring my candle business to JA. Do you think it will work out?

I do. The target customers would probably be more high-end but could also include wedding coordinators and hotels. It is always about positioning my friend. Good luck!
